When Others Can't Catch Them, We can.
From frightened family pets to abandoned strays, we specialize in bringing elusive, vulnerable dogs to safety.
Who GOODBOY Dog Recovery Helps
Lost Dogs
Elusive lost dogs with owners who are unable to locate and catch.
Stray / Forgotten Dogs
Roaming, abandoned, or at-risk dogs with no known owner who need to be brought to safety.
We go after the dogs others can't catch. We work with families and communities to turn sightings into strategy, using patience, experience, and field-tested recovery methods to get lost, stray, and hard-to-catch dogs to safety the right way.

How Our Recovery Process Works
Recovery is not about rushing into the woods or sending more people into the area. It is about understanding the dog, the terrain, the sightings, and the safest path forward.
Assess the Case
We review the dog's history, behavior, last-seen location, sightings, terrain, and urgency before recommending next steps.
Build the Recovery Plan
Every case is different. We use sighting patterns, survival-mode behavior, mapping, and field experience to determine the safest strategy.
Monitor & Adjust
When needed, we use trail cameras, live surveillance, feeding stations, and thermal drone search to gather information without pushing the dog farther away.
Recover Safely
The goal is not to rush the dog. The goal is to bring them to safety using patience, timing, humane capture methods, and the least stressful approach possible.
